Today marks the opening day of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament so Dan Beyer & Aaron Torres, in for Doug Gottlieb who is working as a broadcaster for the tourney, get ready to open presents. They discuss exactly what makes this day so special for really just about everyone because you don’t need to be a sports fan to get excited for your bracket. Add to that the gambling angle, which doesn’t really feel like gambling, and it feels like Santa is here for Spring.
Dan Beyer: “This is what the bracket does and this is why today is so special. This is why today is, in my mind, the Christmas Day of sports because it just has a feel like no other.”
