Analytics Are The Enemy Of Defensive Players

One of the more noticable stories of the offseason is the significant number of offensive players that have gotten paid--the latest being Vikings WR Stefon Diggs who signed a huge extension. What's even more interesting is the fact that several top defensive players including Rams DT Aaron Donald, Seahawks S Earl Thomas and Raiders LB Khalil Mack are all unhappy with their contracts. So why are so many defensive players not being paid big money and offensive players are signing huge deals?

Colin Cowherd thinks he has the answers and explains why this interesting trend is taking over the NFL. He explains why analytics have become the enemy of defensive players in the league.
