Carson, Wright, McDougald all active for Seahawks against Chargers

Los Angeles Rams v Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE -- All three players listed as questionable to play against the Los Angeles Chargers are set to play this afternoon.

Running back Chris Carson, linebacker K.J. Wright and safety Bradley McDougald all were listed as questionable on the team's final injury report on Friday. Head coach Pete Carroll indicated then that Wright and McDougald were expected to be able to go. However, Carson was set to be a game-time decision.

Carson went through pregame work with running backs coach Chad Morton with trainers and General Manager John Schneider watching closely. Ultimately it was determined Carson is healthy enough to play against the Chargers despite the hip/groin issue that limited him in practice this week.

Defensive end Rasheem Green is back in the lineup after missing four games with a high-ankle sprain. His return has led to both Nazair Jones and Poona Ford being made inactive along the defensive line. That will likely require Quinton Jefferson and/or Branden Jackson to play more snaps at the tackle position against the Chargers.

Running back C.J. Prosise, cornerback Neiko Thorpe (groin), safety Maurice Alexander, guard Jordan Simmons (calf) and guard Ethan Pocic are Seattle's additional inactives.

Running back Melvin Gordon is active and playing for the Chargers despite a hamstring injury. Defensive end Joey Bosa is out again and has yet to play this season for the Chargers as he recovers from a foot injury.
