Skip Bayless: Nick Foles is Better Than Carson Wentz

There's a saying that goes: "It's just one game." That's probably what Skip Bayless was thinking when he shared his takeaways from the Philadelphia Eagles beating the Los Angeles Rams last night in a game where everyone thought it was going the other way. On top of Eagles' efforts, they were also missing their starting quarterback, Carson Wentz. Bayless said the following about this:

The Eagles' offense just looks different to me when Nick Foles is running it. If you want to do the two quarterbacks in vacuums, obviously Carson Wentz is as at least as big, he's much stronger, and he has a stronger arm than Nick Foles. But, every time I watch Nick Foles operate the Eagles' offense, it just looks better to me. Nick Foles is better at playing the position of quarterback than Carson Wentz is at this stage of his development.

Doug Gottlieb profoundly disagrees with Skip Bayless about this and cites specific plays from last night including the slow start Foles had at the beginning of the season during his brief stint as the starting quarterback. Gottlieb sees this game as nothing more than Foles showing himself to be a very capable backup quarterback and nothing more.
