Skilled Defensive Prospects Make Sense of Khalil Mack Trade

Things seem to be back on track or 'on schedule' if you ask Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden. Gruden made a big splash when he acquired Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers and now all that's left is to make the NFL draft work in his favor. Despite having a poor season, it would seem that hindsight has set in since Gruden recently received a Sloan MIT award for trading away Khalil Mack even though it was seen as a giant mistake at the time it occurred.

Colin Cowherd took it upon himself to launch into full Gruden mode in efforts to explain why Gruden was handling the Khalil Mack trade questions wrong. The NFL Draft is filled with strong defensive prospects which is exactly the excuse Jon Gruden could have launched at the media from day one.
