Preseason schedule announced for Seahawks

Oakland Raiders v Seattle Seahawks

The NFL released it's schedule for the preseason on Tuesday and the schedule for the Seahawks was filled with many familiar foes.

Seattle will play host to the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders to open and close the preseason, respectively, while traveling to face the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Chargers in between. It's the third straight year the Seahawks have played the Vikings, Chargers and Raiders in the preseason. The Broncos are also a frequent appearance on the schedule having last played Seattle in the 2015 preseason.

The Week 2 game against the Vikings is a nationally televised game on FOX and is set for Sunday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. It's the only game of the set firmly schedule at this point with various aspects of the other three games still to-be-determined.

It's the 14th consecutive season the Seahawks and Raiders have met to close out the preseason.

The full regular season schedule is expected to be released in the next few weeks.
