Tiger Woods is back after coming from behind to win the 2019 Masters at Augusta National in Georgia. Woods entered Sunday two shots behind Francesco Molinari who was sitting in first place for most of the tournament. Woods shot a two-under-par in the final round and finished 13-under for the tournament, winning by just one stroke. Woods hit three birdies in the last six holes to vault into the lead. It was the first time in his illustrious career that Tiger has come from behind in the final day to win a major.
The victory marked Woods first major victory since 2008 and his first Masters win since 2005. Tiger now has 15 career major wins, trailing only Jack Nicklaus who has 18. It is Woods the fifth time that Woods will don the iconic green jacket, moving him within one Masters win of Nicklaus.
