Duane Brown "should be fine" to play against Rams

Seattle Seahawks v Arizona Cardinals

RENTON -- For a Thursday night game, the final injury report for the Seattle Seahawks was remarkably clean.

All 53 players on the active roster took a full load of work during the team's final walkthrough practice of the week on Wednesday afternoon. Only left tackle Duane Brown and backup guard/center Ethan Pocic are listed as questionable for Seattle ahead of the key early season matchup of division rivals Thursday night. And head coach Pete Carroll said after practice that Brown should be able to play against the Rams.

"He's doing fine. He practiced today. He should be fine. He's still questionable but he should be OK," Carroll said.

Brown sustained a minor biceps injury in the team's loss to the New Orleans Saints 10 days ago. He played the entire game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday with the issue not becoming a greater problem.

Running back Rashaad Penny is set to return to the lineup after missing two games with a hamstring strain.

"He's ready to go," Carroll said of Penny.

Special teams captain Neiko Thorpe will also be back after missing three games with a hamstring strain sustained in the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Guard Mike Iupati (foot), defensive end Ziggy Ansah (back) and defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson (hip) are all clear to play as well after being considered limited at some point during the week of walkthrough practices.

"This has been such an accelerated week. But now that it gets to this day it feels like we've put together a full week even in just a couple of days. So we feel comfortable with the prep and we're looking forward to it," Carroll said. "We're feeling pretty good health-wise. So we're really excited about the opportunity to play on Thursday night and play a team in the division, a Rams team that has been so good they're going to challenge us in every way. But we need this kind of challenge so we're looking forward to it."

The Rams are also pretty clean from a health perspective as well. Starting linebacker Bryce Hager was ruled out with a shoulder injury and former University of Washington safety Taylor Rapp is doubtful to play due to an ankle issue. But the rest of the Rams roster is set and ready to go as well.
