Matthew Stafford's Career is One of the Most Disappointing in NFL History

Colin Cowherd: “The worst part about Matthew Stafford is he looks the part. He’s a handsome quarterback, he’s got a nice arm, he sees the field, he makes beautiful throws, and you’re like ‘Wow, this guy is good’… Then Monday Night Football he’s 3/13 on third down, and 1/3 in the red zone – classic Stafford. Eleven years in the NFL and he does not have a signature win.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has had such an empty career, as the 31-year-old who will likely go down as one of the most prolific passers in NFL history has yet to ever win a playoff game.

Colin was discussing Stafford’s dud on Monday Night Football that could have elevated the Lions to the number one slot in the loaded NFC North Division. Stafford was just 18 of 32 for 265 yards and no touchdowns, posting only a 37.7 QBR.

Check out the video below as Colin details how disappointing Stafford’s career has been, considering he looks and plays so much like a superstar franchise quarterback in short spurts but then when the game is on the line and there’s any pressure involved, he predictably wilts.
