Five Reasons Why Clemson Will Beat LSU for the National Championship

Colin Cowherd: “I think Clemson wins tonight and here are my 5 reasons why…” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd preview Monday night’s College Football Playoff title game between the number 1 ranked LSU Tigers, and the number 3 ranked Tigers of Clemson in what will be one of the most highly anticipated National Championships of this generation.

LSU comes in as a 5.0 point favorite in a somewhat surprising betting line considering Clemson has won 29 consecutive games and could be in the midst of a dynasty with a quarterback in Trevor Lawrence who some are touting as one of the most gifted NFL Draft prospects of all time.

Colin says he’d take Lawrence over LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, who just won the Heisman and could potentially pass Hawaii legend Colt Brennan for the most touchdowns ever thrown in a single-season with a big game tonight. And Colin also says he’d also take Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney over LSU head coach Ed Orgeron, despite Orgeron leading a turnaround at LSU that has galvanized a previously disillusioned program who couldn’t get out of the shadow of Nick Saban and Alabama.

Check out the video above as Colin explains why the LSU defense is going to be exposed, and why Clemson will show the world that they're the new Alabama.
