Mike Iupati, Jamal Adams inactive for Seahawks against Cardinals

Seattle Seahawks v Arizona Cardinals

Strong safety Jamal Adams and left guard Mike Iupati are both inactive for Sunday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Adams was ruled out officially on Friday while Iupati was downgraded to out on Saturday. Adams is missing his third straight game due to a going strain while Iupati is out for a second consecutive game due to a back injury.

Meanwhile, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick and tackle Kelvin Beachum are all active for the Cardinals after being listed as questionable on Friday. All six players that had been listed as questionable for Arizona are going to be in uniform Sunday night.

For Seattle, wide receiver Penny Hart, offensive lineman Kyle Fuller, defensive tackle Anthony Rush and tight end Luke Willson are the healthy scratches. Rush had been on the injury report during the week due to a knee injury but was cleared to play. With Arizona being a pass heavy offensive attack, the need for a fourth defensive tackle isn't as necessary. It's also one of the reasons why Damon Harrison was not activated from the practice squad for this week's game.

Ryan Neal will make a third straight start at safety in place of Adams. Veteran safety Damarious Randall was also fully promoted from the practice squad this week to serve as a backup at the position.

Jordan Simmons is expected to get a second start at left guard in place of Iupati.
