David Moore, D.J. Reed active for Seahawks against Eagles

Seattle Seahawks v Los Angeles Rams

Wide receivers David Moore and Freddie Swain, and cornerback D.J. Reed are all active for the Seahawks for Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

All three players had been listed as questionable to play on Saturday by the team. Moore had a hip issue while Reed and Swain were both dealing with foot injuries. But all three, along with backup center Kyle Fuller, all will be in uniform in Philadelphia.

It was a good sign for Seattle when they didn't call up a receiver from the practice squad to be available for tonight's game earlier in the day. If there was concern about the available of either (or both) Moore or Swain, they could have brought up John Ursua, Cody Thompson or Aaron Fuller from the practice squad to cover the depth issues if they felt the other guys wouldn't be able to play.

Moore, Reed and Swain join running back Chris Carson, cornerback Shaquill Griffin and center Ethan Pocic, who are returning to the lineup after multi-game absences. Carson (mid-foot sprain) and Griffin (concussion/hamstring) were injured in the first meeting with Arizona and have missed the last month of games. Pocic missed the last two starts due to a concussion.

Reed has started the last two games in place of Griffin at left cornerback. He likely returns to a reserve role with Griffin back in the lineup. Reed has been handling kickoff returns the last few weeks as well.

However, the Seahawks will be without starting right tackle Brandon Shell due to a high-ankle sprain. Cedric Ogbuehi will make his first start for Seattle in Shell's place. He took over for Shell after he left last Thursday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals due to the ankle injury. The former Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick signed with Seattle in free agency this offseason.

Backup center Kyle Fuller is active and available despite a high-ankle sprain but backup guard Jordan Simmons is out with a calf strain. Running back Travis Homer is out again due to wrist, hand and knee injuries as well.

Defensive end Jonathan Bullard and cornerback Linden Stephens are the healthy scratches for Seattle.

For the Eagles, Jason Peters is active and will play at right guard despite reportedly having a dislocated toe that will require surgery after the season. Right tackle Lane Johnson is out due to an ankle injury and could miss the rest of the year altogether.

Safety Rudy Ford is also out due to a hamstring injury.

Quarterback Nate Sudfeld, running back Jason Huntley and wide recevier Quez Watkins are healthy scratches.
