Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams, defensive tackle Jarran Reed and cornerback Shaquill Griffin are all active and playing in Saturday's Wild Card playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams.

However, running back Rashaad Penny is out due to a hamstring injury that led to his placement on the injury report on Friday.

Adams (shoulder) and Reed (oblique) both were injured in last week's win over the San Francisco 49ers. Griffin had a hamstring tighten up on him in practice on Wednesday. All three are well enough to play in game against the Rams.

Penny is the only injury scratch for Seattle. With Penny deemed questionable, the team elevated running back Alex Collins from the practice squad on Friday for the game. Collins has been a standard elevation from the practice squad twice this season and was a COVID-19 replacement last week against the San Francisco 49ers when he scored his second rushing touchdown of the season.

Running back DeeJay Dallas, cornerback Linden Stephens, tackle Chad Wheeler, and tight ends Luke Willson and Colby Parkinson are the additional inactive for Seattle. Dallas was healthy enough to be available after a high-ankle sprain sustained against Washington three weeks ago, but he's probably still not 100 percent. Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde and Collins will serve as the team's three running backs against the Rams.

Quarterback Jared Goff is active for Los Angeles after fracturing his thumb two weeks ago against Seattle. He had surgery the day after and is just 12 days removed from the procedure. He was throwing in pregame warmups but a starter for the team has not yet been announced. Goff will at least be able to serve as the backup as Blake Bortles was made inactive. John Wolford is the other starting option for the Rams as he went 22-of-38 for 231 yards with an interception against the Arizona Cardinals last week in place of Goff. He also ran for 56 yards on six carries.

All of the Rams inactives were not for injury-related reasons. Bortles, wide receiver Trishton Jackson, tight end Brycen Hopkins, and offensive linemen Brian Allen and Tremayne Anchrum are the scratches for Los Angeles.

The Seahawks placed defensive end Jonathan Bullard on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday morning. It's unclear whether he tested positive or was considered a close contact as Seattle's other recent additions to the list have been. The move gave the Seahawks the ability to add a player to the roster and they elevated rookie defensive tackle Cedrick Lattimore from the practice squad.

Additionally, with Penny questionable, the team elevated running back Alex Collins from the practice squad on Friday for the game. Collins has been a standard elevation from the practice squad twice this season and was a COVID-19 replacement last week against the San Francisco 49ers when he scored his second rushing touchdown of the season.
