Dan Patrick Remembers the Iconic Career of Kenny Mayne

Listen to Dan Patrick discuss Monday’s news of longtime ‘Sportscenter’ anchor Kenny Mayne’s exodus at ESPN, as the familiar face left the network after 27 years on the airwaves.

Mayne posted on his personal Twitter account that he was leaving ESPN and described himself as a 'salary cap casualty.'

Mayne began with the network in 1994.

Dan worked at ESPN from 1989 to 2007, and says he and Mayne were on-air partners on Sportscenter in the mid-’90s when Mayne replaced Keith Olberman.
